The Office of Disability Issues developing a new disability strategy for New Zealand, and we want you to tell us what the most important things are for you and your whānau to live a good life.

The new strategy will provide clear direction for the government over the next ten years, helping them to make informed decisions on issues that impact disabled people.

From 13 April until 22 May, Office of Disability Issues is asking people to tell them what the most important things are for disabled New Zealanders and their whānau to live a good life, to feel valued, supported and able to participate in their communities.

People can join the conversation by attending an event, holding a workshop, recording a video or filling out a survey.

What you say will shape the new strategy. In August, we will release a draft of the document, and ask New Zealanders what they think.
