Helena has over 20 years of undertaking a number of paid and voluntary roles in the disability sector Completing the NZ Diploma in Business where Helena specialized in marketing also completed the Bachelor in social work. Diagnosed with glaucoma as a young child living in Kirikiriroa Hamilton with her two young teens.
Helena has been on the Leadership Group of EGL Waikato since 2013, she is passionate about prioritizing the development of disabled leadership at all levels. Helena is currently employed by My Life My Voice to support, promote and empower the development of disabled communities, leadership and networks.
